Merry Christmas to me!! Ha ha… These peanut butter Christmas trees were my early present to me. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a slight peanut butter and chocolate obsession.
A couple months ago Scott introduced me to white chocolate Reese’s peanut butter cups. He sent some surprise baggies in my suitcase when I went on my trip to Utah! It was the sweetest thing ever! He knows the way to my heart.
When I was thinking about what I wanted to do for the peanut butter and white chocolate peanut butter bash those Reese’s peanut butter cups came to mind!
So I started experimenting immediately. I had to make multiple batches to make sure that I got the recipe just right. I didn’t mind taste testing them over and over again too much.
I mean the taste was never really an issue. You can’t go wrong with white chocolate and peanut butter. It was the process I had to figure out to get these just right! I wanted them to be very Christmas-y!
I got these adorable silicone molds from StarPack and I absolutely love them. The pack comes with stars, hearts and trees so you can make fun treats all year!
Let me walk you through the process of making these Christmas trees… First, make the peanut butter mixture and set it aside. Prep the silicone molds by putting green and red M&M’s in each and creating a pattern.
Then melt the white chocolate and put a small spoonful of white chocolate in each tree. Once the chocolate is in, shake it to help it settle, but not so hard that it moves the M&Ms. Make sure the white chocolate coated the sides of each tree. I used a baby spoon to make it easier!
Wait for it to set up, it takes about 5 minutes in the fridge. Put a spoonful of peanut butter mixture in each tree and press it down firmly into the mold. Then even it out so that it is flat. Get rid of as much of the excess crumbs as you can.
Spread melted white chocolate across the top. You want it to seal off the peanut butter part of the trees so that when they harden and you pop them out they are completely covered!
- 2 cups graham crackers finely crushed
- 1½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups white chocolate melted with a tsp of shortening to thin it out
- Red and green mini M&Ms or sprinkles

Pop them out and enjoy!
