I’ve seen ideas all over the web about mess-free art and I love the idea for so many reasons! This Mess-Free Art is such a great sensory activity that gets the kids working that paint all over the bag.
I was curious about it one day, so even though it was dinner time, we broke out the ziploc bags and paint and set to experimenting. The kids were all fascinated by it and I definitely see some potential, so we’ll be trying that again!
I love the idea of using it for more educational purposes like practicing writing letters just because it is such a unique way to practice! It definitely mixes thing up!
So this is actually just as easy as it looks. Grab a big ol’ ziploc bag. We used gallon size! Add paper if you want to make it more permanent, or just add paint without paper if you want it to be a little easier to move around.
Tape it down so that it is secure and then let the kids go at it!
We had fun finding some fun color combinations. Of course Lanae went for the purples and pinks. Owen wanted blues and greens. Typical. Ha ha! It was a fun activity for sure!!
