And it really only takes about 5 minutes of time. You just toss it all into a dish and let it bake for an hour! The oven does all of the work…
This is serious business. We love this cranberry sauce!
I make a big batch and store some in the freezer and it lasts all season! I separate the sauce in little ramekins that are easy to pull out.
Then we have some for turkey dinners, Swedish meatballs, sandwiches and more! Mmmm.
HOMEMADE CRANBERRY SAUCE

Delicious sweet and tangy cranberry sauce is the perfect topping for turkey, meatballs, rolls... you name it!
Ingredients
- 1 and ½ bags cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup water
- ½ tsp cinnamon, plus a cinnamon stick or two
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place all the ingredients in your 9x13 pan and mix.
- Bake in the oven for an hour! Let cool and remove cinnamon sticks.
- Either mash or blend to get your sauce to the consistency you prefer. We love ours blended nice and smooth!
