I felt like making some delicious peanut butter bars, but then had the idea to make a giant peanut butter heart instead!
It sounded like a great gift idea or just a great snack for those hard days when the kids are driving me crazy. The days when I turn to chocolate to solve my problems.
Speaking of chocolate… Can you get Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in the shape of a heart for Valentine’s day?? I feel like I should know this since they are my absolute favorite. And if they don’t, they need to start.
This is actually really easy to make and I think it would be adorable to give these giant hearts away to friends just to show them you care.
- 2½ cups graham crackers
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups peanut butter
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 cup bittersweet chocolate melted
- Crush or blend your graham crackers so that they are fine!
- Mix graham crackers, powdered sugar, peanut butter and butter. Don't worry about getting your hands dirty, that's how you get it mixed well!
- Refrigerate for about an hour.
- Place a handful in a cookie cutter (whatever size you want to make). Layer melted chocolate on top. Let set up for 10 minutes in the fridge and then remove the cookie cutter.
So yummy! I could eat the whole thing in one sitting. But I shouldn’t… because that’s a lot of sugar!
