This year we focused a lot on the importance of being grateful for the gifts that we receive. Since we receive so many gifts at Christmas time this is the perfect time to focus on saying thank you.
I saw a few different versions of thank you cards out there but wanted to make my own. What can I say? I love playing around with designs.
I do love how it turned out.
One thing that I wanted to include with the cards was pictures of the kids playing or wearing their new gifts. We live far away from most… um, all of our family. I thought it might be nice to send some pictures to the family.
All of the kids loved playing with their new toys so it was easy to get some pictures of them playing.
Then we sat down for a lesson one day and talked about all the people that gave us gifts. Lanae was totally in love with the idea of telling her family thank you and what she loved about her gifts. Which was a lot… we definitely had to narrow down some of her sentences.
These thank you cards were so fun to work on and send out…
We were so loved by family this Christmas. So we had a lot to be grateful for!
