Their names are Bella and Dolly… but I keep calling them Belly and Dolla. I hope I can start to keep them straight soon, because that is just too confusing!
Our big celebration activity for the week was a tea party… Or really a Chocolate Milk party with Banana Bread and fruit and crackers. I talked it up a ton and Lanae was really excited about it. It was a lot of fun.
One of the neat things about a tea party is the opportunity it gives to teach some simple manners and etiquette. Like sharing and offering something to someone else before eating it yourself. We talked about some of the polite things we might say at a party and how we ‘clink’ our glasses… It’s just a nice time to talk about things that sometimes are harder for kids to understand.
It’s also a really nice time to relax and hang out with daddy! We’re glad he could join us for our tea party tonight. You can definitely tell that she loves her daddy!

How cute! I would never guess that you were only a beginner sewer! These are amazing!

Thanks Chelsea! I’m still learning a lot and if you look really close, the dolls definitely have some major flaws. The nice thing is Lanae loves them no matter what.
