Today I have something exciting to share with you. Something that I’ve been thinking about for a couple months. Something important.
Do you ever have questions about raising kids that you wish you could discuss with other moms? Do you wish there was a place that shared helpful information about how to be the best mom you can?
2 years ago I moved across the country. Away from friends and family. To a brand new place. It was scary… And it’s been a really hard transition filled with some extremely lonely moments. I know other moms can relate to that feeling even if they haven’t moved away from family because being a mother can be hard and lonely.
Well my friend Chelsea (from the blog Life with my Littles) and I have teamed up to create a new community called Mothers First! A community for moms…
A couple months ago I saw this Similac video with all the different types of moms who come together and realize that even though their beliefs are all different, they are all parents who want what is best for their children. Chelsea and I also believe that no matter what parenting style you subscribe to, we are all mothers first. We have started Mothers First as a place to support each other as mothers, ask questions, get answers, and learn how to be the best mothers we can be.
We want members to to be able to ask questions they have, give advice to others who have questions, and grow to be a real community. So if you want other moms’ opinions on baby products, how to get your toddler to sleep in his bed, or even how to maintain your own sanity through the craziness of motherhood, you now have a place to ask for help! We want to get lots of moms of all different styles together so that we can have lots of help and lots of support.
Chelsea and I will also be sharing our blog posts and hope to be able to interact more with our readers. We both started our blogs to share our lives and to help other people. We both feel that this community is a great way to continue to do that. But it won’t work if you guys don’t interact with us! So don’t be shy!
