One of my flower experiments yielded these fun and pretty burlap flowers! They are beautiful for a table setting and super easy to make.
I know, these have a completely different look than those other flowers! They are more playful and bright… perfect for indoor decor!
I love how these turned out! The buttons really give them a nice pop!!
They were also fun to make! See how I put these babies together…
Supplies:
Cardboard
Burlap
Tulle
Button
Glue Gun
Instructions:
- Cut a 12 x 3 inch strip of burlap.
- On one side, pull a piece of twine about a half inch away from the edge, then pull tighter on the other side.
- Pull the two raw edges together and put a dab of glue on a 1×1 inch piece of cardboard. Place the center of your burlap flower in the glue and carefully hold it down… its burlap, so hot glue might go through and burn you if your not careful. It happened to me! 🙂
- Twist a 4 inch piece of tulle and glue it down.
- Finally glue a fun button in place over the tulle!
Once your flower is all put together, then you just need to figure out what you want to attach it to! I attached mine to floral wire.
