Today I’m sharing the recipe for The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever. Period.
I have had a lot of cookies in my day! I love cookies. I’m pretty much a cookie expert.
These cookies are perfect. They are a childhood favorite that I never grew out of…
I love how soft and chewy they are, but they still have the perfect amount of crunch.
In my opinion I have elevated them by adding Peanut Butter M&M’s instead of the normal M&M’s. I’m sure that’s not a surprise to anyone.
The last reason why these are the best chocolate chip cookies ever is that they have blended oatmeal.
Yes. Oatmeal makes them healthy! So you can have several cookies without feeling bad… Don’t even worry about the 4 cups of sugar and the 2 cups of butter. The oatmeal zeroes it all out!
- 2 cups butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 5 cups blended oatmeal
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 24 ounces chocolate chips
- 1 cup m&ms
- 3 cups chopped nuts
- Cream butter and both sugars. While beating the butter and sugar, blend oatmeal!
- Add eggs and vanilla and combine.
- Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Add chocolate chips, M&Ms, and nuts.
- Roll into balls and place two inches apart on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 F for 8-10 minutes. Do not over bake. Should just be lightly brown on top and chewy in the middle!
